Jordan operator algebras are norm‐closed spaces of operators on a Hilbert space with for all . In two recent papers by the authors and Neal, a theory for these spaces was developed. It was shown there that much of the theory of associative operator algebras, in particular, surprisingly much of the associative theory from several recent papers of the first author and coauthors, generalizes to Jordan operator algebras. In the present paper we complete this task, giving several results which generalize the associative case in these papers, relating to unitizations, real positivity, hereditary subalgebras, and a couple of other topics. We also solve one of the three open problems stated at the end of our earlier joint paper on Jordan operator algebras. 相似文献

在近红外光谱900-1700nm的波长范围内采集南疆羊肉的光谱数据,来研究水分含量的快速无损检测.为减弱非目标因素对光谱的影响,采用SNV和去趋势法对光谱数据进行预处理.为降低建模的复杂度,去除共线性的影响,采用连续投影算法和相关系数法相结合选取8个特征波长变量,最后使用PLS和ELM算法分别进行建模.实验表明,与采用全光谱波段建模相比,采用特征波长变量建模,PLS和ELM算法的运行时间都大大缩短,并且在运行时间和预测精度上,ELM算法均优于PLS算法.ELM算法采用8个特征波段变量建模,预测精度达到0.9768,均方误差为4.4291e-04,相关系数为0.7603,运行时间可控制在1e-04s之下,这可为研发羊肉水分含量的便携式检测装置提供理论参考. 相似文献

We consider the Hankel determinant generated by the Gaussian weight with two jump discontinuities. Utilizing the results of Min and Chen [Math. Methods Appl Sci. 2019;42:301‐321] where a second‐order partial differential equation (PDE) was deduced for the log derivative of the Hankel determinant by using the ladder operators adapted to orthogonal polynomials, we derive the coupled Painlevé IV system which was established in Wu and Xu [arXiv: 2002.11240v2] by a study of the Riemann‐Hilbert problem for orthogonal polynomials. Under double scaling, we show that, as , the log derivative of the Hankel determinant in the scaled variables tends to the Hamiltonian of a coupled Painlevé II system and it satisfies a second‐order PDE. In addition, we obtain the asymptotics for the recurrence coefficients of orthogonal polynomials, which are connected with the solutions of the coupled Painlevé II system. 相似文献

An improved algorithm for the shallow water equations model reduction: Dynamic Mode Decomposition vs POD 下载免费PDF全文
We propose an improved framework for dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) of 2‐D flows for problems originating from meteorology when a large time step acts like a filter in obtaining the significant Koopman modes, therefore, the classic DMD method is not effective. This study is motivated by the need to further clarify the connection between Koopman modes and proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) dynamic modes. We apply DMD and POD to derive reduced order models (ROM) of the shallow water equations. Key innovations for the DMD‐based ROM introduced in this paper are the use of the Moore–Penrose pseudoinverse in the DMD computation that produced an accurate result and a novel selection method for the DMD modes and associated amplitudes and Ritz values. A quantitative comparison of the spatial modes computed from the two decompositions is performed, and a rigorous error analysis for the ROM models obtained is presented. We are presenting a differential three-dimensional (3-D) shape profiling method that is based on the combination of orthogonal fringe projection. It allows us to compute depth gradient maps in a fast and efficient manner. What we are demonstrating is that depth gradients can be computed in a simple way by measuring fringe deformation throughout a novel single-shot approach. We show the usefulness and potential applications of the proposed approach. Validation experiments are presented as well. 相似文献

This paper provides various “contractivity” results for linear operators of the form where C are positive contractions on real ordered Banach spaces X . If A generates a positive contraction semigroup in Lebesgue spaces , we show (M. Pierre's result) that is a “contraction on the positive cone ”, i.e. for all provided that . We show also that this result is not true for 1 ⩽ . We give an extension of M. Pierre's result to general ordered Banach spaces X under a suitable uniform monotony assumption on the duality map on the positive cone . We deduce from this result that, in such spaces, is a contraction on for any positive projection C with norm 1. We give also a direct proof (by E. Ricard) of this last result if additionally the norm is smooth on the positive cone. In this article, we focus on modules with the property that every projection invariant submodule is essential in a fully invariant direct summand. In contrast to π-extending condition, it is shown that the former property is inherited by direct summands and Morita invariant. An application of our results yields that the endomorphism ring of a free module enjoys the property. Moreover, we characterize generalized triangular matrix rings with the aforementioned property and apply to somewhat special cases. 相似文献

This article uses the shrinking projection method introduced by Takahashi, Kubota and Takeuchi to propose an iteration algorithm for a countable family of Bregman multi-valued quasi-nonexpansive mappings in order to have the strong convergence under a limit condition in the framework of reflexive Banach spaces. We apply our results to a zero point problem of maximal monotone mappings and equilibrium problems in reflexive Banach spaces. In particular, bounds from below are found for absolute projection constants with codimension 2. Also, exact formulas for minimal projections in this case are given.
